The early progrnosis on Cliff Lee is not a good one.  While the Phillies had hoped that Lee's disabled list stint would be a quick one, right now there is no real timetable on Lee's return.  In order for Lee to begin throwing, the team wants his discomfort to end.  Right now, Lee still has it.

Mark Narducci on Philly.com passed on the negative prognosis from Lee himself:

"They decided to let me wait [until] I have no symptoms to start throwing," Lee said after the Phillies' 9-0 win over Colorado Monday. "I pretty much agree with that and it makes sense.

"If I felt good today it would be another week or so and hopefully I could come back after the 15 days is up," Lee added. "But now it looks like it is going to be longer than that."

Lee's discomfort stemmed from a left (his throwing arm) elbow strain.  Lee had pitched through it for several starts before having an MRI on his arm
