The wins keep coming and coming for the Sixers, as the team beat the Hornets in Charlotte 105-99 on Monday night for their third straight victory.

The Sixers rode a dominant third quarter where they outscored Charlotte 32-25, and pulled away late in the contest. The Sixers were without the services of Joel Embiid, who is out with a left knee injury, and Jahlil Okafor, who didn't travel with the team due to trade rumors.

Once again, however, the Sixers did just fine without Embiid on the floor and captured another victory without him. Embiid has missed his last nine games.

The Sixers had five different players score at least 10 points, as Dario Saric had a team-high 18 points off the bench. As of late, Saric has been one of the main contributors to this team off the bench, and has established himself as a key sixth-man in this lineup. The progression of Saric has been staggering over the course of the entire season, as he has definitely shown up to play in recent weeks. He also added 11 boards and three assists to his stat-line.

Robert Covington went 6 of 16 from the field and had 17 points for the Sixers. T.J. McConnell had 14 points and seven assists, while Nerlens Noel put up 12 points, seven rebounds, three steals, and two blocks.

In the first quarter, the Sixers got out to a fast scoring lead to as much as 17-5, before the Hornets found a groove and came back to make the game a little closer.

Not a surprise to anyone, Kemba Walker was a stand-out for the Hornets, as the point guard had a game-high 29 points. Frank Kaminsky had 12 points and 11 boards. Nicolas Batum had 16 points, and went 3-of-6 from beyond the arc.

At the end of the day, it was the offense that kept the Sixers in the game and the defense that made sure Charlotte stayed as far away as possible in certain facets of the game. The Sixers out-rebounded the Hornets 51-to-33.

With the win, the Sixers won their third game in a row, the Hornets drop their third straight game. Philadelphia sits with a record of 21-34, while Charlotte falls to 24-31.

The Sixers continue their road trip up in Boston vs. the Celtics on Wednesday night. Tip-off is at 7:30 p.m. from the TD Garden.
