If you were to make a list of the most memorable moments in Philadelphia Phillies history, the 2008 World Series championship would be at or near the top of the list.
Now in 2017, nine years removed from the second world title in team history, the Phillies are in the midst of their first season without a member of the 2008 team.
Prior to yesterday's 4-1 season-opening win over the Cincinnati Reds, Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia put together a tremendous piece looking back on the 2008 team that 94 WIP's John Barchard shared:

While it was hard to let that 2008 team go, and watch the players filter out as time went on, there's something encouraging about a team committed to finding that camaraderie and passion that can lead the team to a third world championship.
