Eagles Agree To Contract With First-Round Pick Derek Barnett

The Eagles have agreed to a four-year contract with their first-round pick Derek Barnett, the team announced Thursday.

According to Spotrac, the contract is projected to be worth $12.8 million with a $7.4 million signing bonus. Barnett will carry a cap hit just north of $2.3 million during the 2017 season.

Barnett played three seasons at the University of Tennessee before declaring for the 2017 NFL Draft, recording 32 sacks and 52 tackles for loss in his collegiate career. Those 32 sacks were good enough to break Reggie White's school record.

With the signing, all of the Eagles 2017 draft picks are under contract with the team.
