The Flyers extended qualifying offers to seven players on Monday, giving all seven of their restricted free agents a chance to return.

The Flyers have qualifying offers extended to forwards Scott Laughton, Mike Vecchione, Taylor Leier, Roman Lyubimov and Cole Bardreau as well as goalie Anthony Stolarz and Alex Lyon.

Of those players, only Laughton, Vecchione and Stolarz really factor into the NHL roster at the moment, though space is certainly going to be limited among forwards and goalies come October.

The Flyers protected Laughton in the Expansion Draft, but he'll have to earn his way on the roster with Nolan Patrick and Oskar Lindblom likely getting a long look and Jori Lehtera joining the fold. Vecchione will have the same batter.

For Stolarz, he is for now the No. 2 goalie on the team, but could slide back to third on the depth chart if the Flyers opt to sign a veteran free agent this weekend, which seems likely.

Leier and Bardreau will return to the Phantoms more than likely, as will Lyon in goal.

Lyubimov is expected to go back to play in Russia after seeing minimal action in his first NHL season with the Flyers.
