Excellent news, Philly fans. Sixers GM Bryan Colangelo went on Mike & Mike this morning and revealed a total bombshell: He fully expects Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid, and Markelle Fultz to be completely ready to go for Opening Night with no minutes restrictions.

Based on everything I know today, based on the progress of Joel [Embiid] returning from his surgery, based on Ben's [Simmons] progress and watching him, in the gym go up and down the court, work on drills, play five-on-five basketball, assuming continued health, and continued progress of all those players. That's the goal, that's the vision, and it seems like it's on track for that.

It has been plenty frustrating watching these players get injured and not be able to show their talents on the court over the last couple seasons, but it is refreshing to see the confidence in Bryan Colangelo that the product will be seen at the very beginning of next season.

After the Sixers took Markelle Fultz last night with the first overall pick, it showed the city of Philadelphia firm hope and assurance that the worst of Sixers basketball is finally behind them and the future is right around the corner.
