There's some good news and some bad news. First, some good news is Markelle Fultz is going to workout for the Sixers later today.
Source says Markelle Fultz will work out for the Sixers later today.

More good news: The terms of the deal seem to be relatively set and the Sixers might just be waiting on the medicals to clear on Fultz.
Discussions have centered on Sixers sending 2017 No. 3, 2018 Lakers pick, and possibly 2021 1st — including complicated protections. https://t.co/LwswzXyCzf

This is an incredibly attractive deal to me. The lakers pick should be pretty high, probably top 7. But the 2021 Sixers' pick should be relatively low, probably in the 20's. This is well worth giving up to get another potential franchise talent in Markelle Fultz to add to an already talented and young core of Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, and Dario Saric.
The bad news is if the trade were to happen it would likely happen on draft night. The only road bump seems to be the Celtics want to make sure they'll get Josh Jackson at pick number three.
Word out of Boston is that #Sixers and #Cetlics may come to an agreement but trade won't be done until draft night.

So the Sixers would be looking at coming away with either Markelle Fultz at the number one pick or Lonzo Ball at the number three pick.
Fultz is widely regarded as the most talented player in the draft and he would fit into the Sixers' lineup like a glove so that would obviously be my first choice. But I've been hoping Lonzo Ball falls to them all through draft season so it won't be the worst thing in the world if the trade doesn't go through.
