They’re Here: Sixers unveil new Nike threads

With Nike taking over uniform rights starting in the 2017-18 season, teams will be getting new jerseys this season, as part of the deal. Some teams have drastic differences in jersey designs like the Indiana Pacers.

The new Nike Sixers uniforms didn't receive a complete overhaul, just a little bit of an update.

The Sixers unveiled the change while packaging Markelle Fultz in a video describing the new jersey and finally announcing Fultz's number to be No. 20.

The two most noticeable differences in the new Nike jersey is the "StubHub" advertising brand on the right side of the jersey, and the red drop-shadow underneath "PHILA" and the numbers.

In the past, a "PHILATOUGH" word mark was embroidered at the bottom of the jersey.

Now on the new uniform, the city nickname "Brotherly Love" is embroidered on the bottom.

There are still two alternates that have yet to be announced, which could bring two throwbacks into the mix. I'm personally hoping they bring the Hardwood Classic uniforms back that they wore for special games last season.

Just a new uniform design perfect for the start of a new era of Sixers basketball in Philadelphia.
