Eagles being dubbed “class of the NFC” by national media after week 6

On ESPN's First Take program Max Kellerman called the Eagles "the class of the NFC." After their week six victory and losses to the other top dogs in the league, that certainly seems to be the case with analysts and pundits across the nation.

The praise did not stop with Kellerman, however. Adam Schein of CBS Sports declared that the Eagles are poised to be Super Bowl contenders on his "Time to Schein" web show:

Note: Schein's praise comes before the injury to Aaron Rodgers and the losses by the Atlanta Falcons and Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

Marshall Faulk and Rich Eisen reviewed the Eagles performance from last Thursday night on NFL Network, and the hall of fame running back had some incredible praise for the Eagles as well as their sophomore quarterback:

Colin Cowherd of Fox Sports 1 chimed in as well, listing the Eagles at the top of the NFC following the fallout from week. The video will start at the point where Cowherd mentions the Eagles, and he goes on to discuss the Packers and Falcons:

League power rankings have also begun to come out and Fansided has listed the Eagles at the top team in the NFL, with former NFL quarterback and now Bleacher Report analyst Chris Simms naming the Eagles as the second best team behind the Chiefs.

As more power rankings come out it would be a shock if the Eagles to not take one of the top two spots on each one.
