The Eagles locker room is one of the strongest in the NFL and it is because of players like Torrey Smith, Chris Long, and Malcolm Jenkins.
On Tuesday, following the Eagles huge victory on Monday Night Football, those three players went to the Pennsylvania State Capitol to try and make a huge difference in their community.
The three players all spoke on behalf of the Clean Slate Act. If passed, the Clean Slate Act would seal the criminal records of non-violent offenders from employers if they have not violated the law 10 years after their initial offense.
"It takes a lot of sacrifice but the ball has been rolled and that's a good thing," Jenkins said. "We've seen other guys getting involved in their communities, other teams, other players. And, a lot of that comes from leading by example."
State Representative Dave Reed said that he feels that the players coming to the Capitol will increase the chances of the bill being passed.
