Sixers center Joel Embiid didn't have the greatest night statistically on Friday night in the preseason finale against the Miami Heat, but his presence alone aided the Sixers in winning the game and playing at a whole other level.
Embiid got into a little bit of a battle of words with Heat center Hassan Whiteside on Friday night while on the court, and the exchange continued throughout the night on social media.

The tweets may be savage, but Embiid told NBC Sports Philadelphia's Jessica Camerato that it's all in good fun.
Embiid asked about Twitter/Instagram exchange with Whiteside: "They call me the social media king." Added, "To me, it’s all fun."

Well, Embiid was voted the "NBA's Best Social Media Follow" back in August by the NBA Players' Association. He sure is living up to it, but he will need to continue to back up his mouth with stellar play on the basketball court.
I don't think we've seen the last between these two up-and-coming NBA centers, both on and off the court.
