Carson Wentz sets Eagles single-season touchdown record

Carson Wentz entered week 14 with 29 passing touchdowns – the third most in Eagles franchise history for a single season.

With two passing touchdowns in the first quarter of the Eagles' week 14 game against the Los Angeles Rams Wentz tied Donovan McNabb for the second most in team history with 31 after a touchdown to tight end Trey Burton.

Early in the second quarter Wentz would find Burton again for his 32nd of the season – tying Sonny Jurgenson for the most in franchise history in a single season.

Wentz would move into sole possession of the record in the third quarter on fourth down when Alshon Jeffery made an unbelievable finger tip grab to keep the ball from hitting the turf.

With his 33rd touchdown pass of the season Carson Wentz has the most touchdowns in a season by an Eagles quarterback with one quarter and three games left in the season.
