The Markelle Fultz saga has been a frustrating one for Sixers fans. We've had to go through seasons without first round picks for the better part of the last four years (Embiid, Simmons, Noel), but this one is different because it isn't an injury that anyone has really seen before. It's been a little bit since we've seen a video of Fultz, especially after J.J. Redick told the media that the number of videos they were taking of him was "obsessive".

While it still seems pretty unlikely that Fultz suits up this season, a video from NJ.com' Zach Rosenblatt surfaced on Wednesday of Markelle going through some shooting drills prior to the game against the Heat. For a guy who's range was told be limited to the paint, this sure looks like he's been given the thumbs up to go outside the paint. Also, how about the shooting form? Looks almost….normal?

Whether you choose to blame the Sixers, Fultz or his long-time trainer for this issue, this video contradicts what Bryan Colangelo said last week about Fultz's limited shooting range. It's promising to see the 19-year-old displaying some better mechanics and hopefully it means he's on the right track to an NBA return sooner rather than later.
