Howie Roseman and the Eagles continue to make moves and get the team in shape for the upcoming season. Early Tuesday morning, it was reported that the Eagles had restructured OT Lane Johnson's contract to free up cap space.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, former Lions DT Haloti Ngata will sign a one-year deal with the Eagles.

And after needing to complete a physical, Ngata's agent Mike McCartney announced that the defensive tackle signed his one-year contract on Thursday.

According to NBC Sports Philadelphia's Dave Zangaro, the deal is worth $3 million for the 2018 season.
The Eagles' defensive line continues to improve and look more menacing as the team looks to defend their Super Bowl championship.
Not only do the Birds still have Fletcher Cox, Tim Jernigan, Derek Barnett, Chris Long, and Brandon Graham (for now), they just traded for Michael Bennett and have now added Ngata.
In 2017, the 34-year-old only played five games due to an elbow injury and was placed on the IR.
Ngata has compiled 31.5 sacks during his 13-year career with the Lions and Baltimore Ravens. He is a five-time Pro Bowler, two-time All-Pro selection and a Super Bowl champion with the Ravens.
Ngata gets added on the cheap for the Eagles defensive-line especially with lineman Beau Allen most likely on the way out to get paid elsewhere. With the Eagles needing to adjust their cap situation before free agency opens on Wednesday, signing Ngata to a one-year deal allows that flexibility.
Plus, the Eagles get one of the best pass rushers of this generation, a possible future hall of famer, for an affordable cost.
