After missing Sunday's matchup with the Charlotte Hornets, Sixers forward Dario Saric will not play Tuesday when the Nets visit the Wells Fargo Center due to cellulitis on his elbow.

According to the Sixers, Saric received treatment intravenously on Monday and will be re-evaluated on Tuesday, but his status is 'OUT' for Tuesday's game.

Losing Saric to an infection is a big blow to the team, considering Joel Embiid is out for the remainder of the season. The Sixers still found ways to win on Sunday without both Embiid and Saric, but as they take on more difficult opponents, teams will continue to exploit the areas that the Sixers are weaker in.

On Tuesday, we'll most likely see Brett Brown game-planning to use Ersan Ilyasova and Richaun Holmes more off the bench.
