Sixers could start second round series on Saturday

The Philadelphia 76ers earned a spot in the Eastern Conference Semifinals after defeating the Miami Heat in a best-of-7 series, 4-1. It was their first playoff series win since 2012 and now they await their round 2 opponent.

The Sixers will play the winner of the Celtics vs. Bucks series, which is set to play Game 6 on Thursday at 8pm. While many fans have said they want to play Boston, especially without the likes of Kyrie Irving, home court advantage would be key for another series and would only happen if Milwaukee wins the next two games against the Celtics.

If Boston beats Milwaukee on Thursday, the first game of the Semifinals between the Sixers and Celtics would be played on Saturday night. If the Bucks force a Game 7, then Monday would be the start date for Game 1 of the semis.
