Yes, fired Giants HC Ben McAdoo really criticized Eagles

No, you aren't seeing things. Former New York Giants head coach Ben McAdoo actually did criticize the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles in an interview with the New York Post on Thursday, and it's definitely a head-scratcher.

What would the fired coach of the Giants, who finished 2-14 in 2017, know anything about what it takes to be a winner in the National Football League?

McAdoo told the Post that he believes the New York Giants will win the NFC East in 2018, and the Eagles will struggle to regain their championship form.

“I think they’re gonna win the division. […] I think Philly, how much success has Philly had? I think they’re gonna have a hard time handling success."

For a guy whose tenure with the Giants can be only summed up by failure, it's hard to believe that not only is he picking the team that ousted him as coach as the division winners, but he's also criticising the Super Bowl Champions and whether or not they can replicate the same brand of success in the upcoming season.

Eh, maybe McAdoo is still salty the Eagles passed on him for Pederson three years ago. One thing is for sure, the Eagles surely wouldn't have gotten a ring with McAdoo at the helm.
