The Sixers dropped their second straight preseason game on Saturday night against the Cavs, 108-105. despite another strong night from second year center Richaun Holmes. The Bowling Green grad finished with 19 points and six rebounds off the bench while Sergio Rodriguez added 15 points and eight assists.
Although it is just preseason, the Sixers again showed a lack of late game heroics when Rodriguez hoisted a ill advised three late in the shot clock that could have put them ahead. But no fear, Sixer fans, there were bright spots as Joel Embiid showed some wow moments, including an emphatic one-handed jam in the first quarter. Dario Saric showed some growing pains while Richaun Holmes continues to make the Sixers center logjam a four-man problem instead of three.
