Todd Zolecki reports the Phillies have signed local boy Dave Bush to a minor-league deal. Bush hails from Conestoga High School.
Usually Bush pitched very well against the Phillies, including this above start in which he was no-hitting the Phillies into the 8th inning, only to be broken up by a Matt Stairs home run.
There's a doubleheader on September 20th now, so maybe he can get a start. He will report to Lehigh Valley, according to Zolecki.
