After winning three straight games in dramatic fashion, maybe things are turning around for the Phillies. One of the big things that say their not sellers: extending Cole Hamels.

The Phillies appear to have done that. After making a six-year offer worth upwards of $140 million, the Phillies laid all of their options on the table. Reports said that the Phillies had made the offer to Hamels, were waiting on an answer, and had the best available trades lined up in the event Hamels declined.

The offer has been revealed. It is six years and $137.5 million. And it appears Hamels is taking it.

Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports has reported late tonight that the Phillies and Hamels are close to reaching an agreement on the extension.

The agreement is not official at this time, but stay tuned. Within 24 hours, the deal should go official. At least that's what all signs are pointing to.
