Well, Jimmy Rollins is not the only one. According to reports, Shane Victorino will join TBS as a studio analyst for postseason coverage. Victorino's Los Angeles Dodgers were eliminated from playoff contention in the final couple days of the regular season. The elimination was a great disappointment to the Dodgers, who sunk lots of money into Victorino, Hanley Ramirez, Josh Beckett, Adrian Gonzalez, Carl Crawford, and Joe Blanton as new ownership attempted to make a playoff push.
Victorino is looking for a new agent and will be looking for a new team. The Dodgers appear to have no room for the free agent Victorino after acquiring Crawford from the Boston Red Sox and with key pieces Matt Kemp and Andre Ethier in center field and right field, respectively.
The report states that Kemp was originally scheduled to have the job before undergoing surgery.
