The Nationals and their fans broke into celebration going into the bottom of the 9th. But the game was still going on. The Nationals barely seemed like they could concentate as rookie Phillies pitcher Phillippe Aumont pitched the bottom of the 9th inning.
For the Phillies, they are one win away from a winning record in a difficult season. For the Nationals now, these remaining two games are meaningless. The division crown is theirs.
