Sixers Obtain the 11th pick in the 2013 NBA Draft

Tonight was the 2013 NBA Draft Lottery and many people didn't expect the Philadelphia 76ers to move up but as you know there was a glimmer of hope that just maybe the Sixers can get into the top five.

That hope surely diminished as the Sixers obtained the 11th pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. Winning the draft lottery was the Cleveland Cavaliers who won it for the second time out of the last three years. With the Sixers now securing the 11th pick, Sam Hinkie, Adam Aron, Josh Harris, and the new Sixers coach is now on the clock.

With having the 11th pick, there will be big men there for the Sixers to take. The Sixers could take Kelly Olynyk out of Gonzaga, Cody Zeller out of Indiana, Alex Len out of Maryland, Anthony Bennett out of UNLV, or international big man Rudy Gobert out of France. So the Sixers will have their picking of big men if they decide to go that route.

But if new management decides a big man is not what they want. They can always draft guard CJ McCollum out of Lehigh who is a scorer or two guard Shabazz Muhammad out of UCLA. But all these questions will be answered later in June when the Sixers make their selection in the 2013 NBA Draft.
