Eagles' LeSean McCoy, Jason Peters and Evan Mathis had the kind of season that reputations are built of and if postseason awards are any merit, they're certainly building some impressive ones.

McCoy launched an assault on the Eagles franchise record book becoming the franchise's all time leading single season rusher, posting the most yards from scrimmage in a single season and becoming the NFL's rushing champion in the process. Along the way McCoy has picked up a Pro Bowl berth, All-Pro first-team recognition and today a spot on the Pro Football Writers of America's All-NFL team.

Mathis did not get voted into the Pro Bowl but on Monday was announced as a fellow member of the All-NFL team as well as finished the year as a first-team All-Pro, along with McCoy.

Meanwhile, Peters has opted out of the Pro Bowl but made the All-NFC Team Monday.

It is notable that Donnie Jones did not make either the All-NFL or All-NFC team.

Here is the list of honorees, via PFWA’s website.
