The playoff push is here. That means intense games, playoff spoilers and of course the trade deadline. A recent trend in the NHL has been teams getting a jump on the deadline. That trend continues this season as this week saw multiple deals before Monday's deadline.
Here is quick look at the moves that were made this past week.

There is just over 72 hours left until the trade deadline. More players are expected to be moved. The question is how many and will we see the blockbuster deal this year. Only time will tell.
Kane
The Chicago Blackhawks took a huge loss on Tuesday as All Star winger Patrick Kane went down with a broken clavicle. He is expected to miss the next 10 weeks recovering from surgery. Kane is in a three way tie with Jakub Voracek and Nicklas Backstrom for the league scoring title.
It would have marked the first time an American born player would have won the scoring had he been able to do so. He has also been in the conversation for the Hart Trophy as league MVP. Teuvo Teravainen was recalled to take Kane's spot on the roster.
