The ageless wonder, a.k.a. Jaromir Jagr, has reached yet another milestone in his Hall of Fame career. Last night the 43 yr old winger scored his 718th career goal in Florida's game against the Red Wings. The goal moved Jagr past Phil Esposito for fifth all time in NHL history.

He trails Marcel Dionne by 13 goals for fourth all time. Jagr has played for Pittsburgh, Washington, New York , Philadelphia, Dallas, Boston, New Jersey, and Florida. If not for a three year stint in the KHL in 2008, Jagr could possibly be in second place all time.

Ovechkin Closing in on 50

Alexander Ovechkin continues to show the world why he is probably the best pure goal scorer in today's game. The Capitals captain netted two goals in last night's win against Minnesota. The goals were numbers 46 and 47 of the season for Ovechkin.

Throughout his career, he has hit the 50 goal marker five times with this season most likely being number six . He figures to win his fifth Rocket Richard trophy as he has opened up an eight goal cushion on second place Steven Stamkos.

He is also in the hunt for the Art Ross trophy. Ovechkin sits atop the points race, one point ahead of John Tavares, Sidney Crosby, and teammate Nicklas Backstrom. It would be his second scoring title should he hold on.
