Phillies open four game series against fellow bottom dweller Brewers

While it's hard to imagine a team that is having a worse season than the Phillies in the win/loss columns, here come the Milwaukee Brewers who are in the mix to be choosing quite early in next year's draft as well.

Starting Pitching Matchup:

Milwaukee Brewers (29-48) Philadelphia Phillies (27-50)
RHP Jimmy Nelson RHP Sean O'Sullivan
(4-8,  4.34 ERA) (1-5, 5.34 ERA)

Jimmy Nelson of Milwaukee is having a fairly decent season for the struggling Brewers. While known to throw a few clunkers this season, Nelson is coming off a really strong outing where he held the Mets to two hits over eight innings of one run ball last week.

Sean O'Sullivan is coming off a poor outing last week in Yankee Stadium where he was tagged for six runs over 4.1 innings. While any team that has any interest in contending probably wouldn't have O'Sullivan in their starting rotation and with Chad Billingsley coming back, his spot on the roster could be jeopardy, he has filled in the number five spot as well as can be expected.

It's a fairly standard line up for the Phillies tonight.
