The Phillies first pick of the 2015 MLB Draft went to improving the infield.

With the 10th overall pick in Monday's first round of the 2015 MLB First Year Player Draft, the Phillies selected shortstop Cornelius Randolph.

Randolph is a 6'1", 190 pound infielder who was listed at shortstop, but many think he'll be changing positions to a corner infield spot.

Randolph comes out of Griffin High School in Georgia and hit .528 with 18 RBI in 17 games in his senior season.

Stay tuned for a scouting report coming shortly to Philliedelphia on the newest Phillies prospect.
