After two weeks of camp practices and preseason games, the Flyers final roster has been set.
Here are the 23 players to make the team.
Claude Giroux, Jake Voracek, Michael Raffl, Wayne Simmonds, Sean Couturier, Matt Read, Brayden Schenn, Ryan White, Chris VandeVelde, Pierre-Edouard Bellemare, Vincent Lecavalier, R.J. Umberger, Scott Laughton and Sam Gagner are the forwards to make the team.
On defense, the Flyers will have Mark Streit, Nick Schultz, Michael Del Zotto, Evgeny Medvedev, Luke Schenn, Radko Gudas and Brandon Manning.
The two goalies are Steve Mason and Michal Neuvirth.
The Flyers open the season on Thursday, Oct. 8, on the road against the Tampa Bay Lightning. The home opener is Monday, Oct. 12, against the Florida Panthers.
Notes:
- D Andrew MacDonald cleared waivers and was loaned to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
- Scott Laughton changed his number from 49 to 21. Laughton wore the number in his first NHL game action in 2013 and as a member of the Phantoms last season.
