Flyers Announce Development Camp Schedule, Participants

The first chance to see some of the Flyers newest draft picks will come in just a couple of weeks.

The Flyers announced their annual development schedule on Wednesday and the 34 participants.

Camp opens on Thursday, July 7 with position-specific workouts taking place for the first two days of camp. Position workouts will continue on Days 3 and 4 of camp with two group workouts taking place at the end of the day. Workouts will begin at 8:30 a.m. and continue through 11:45 a.m. before a break. Workouts will resume at 4 p.m. and conclude for the day at 6:15 p.m.

There will also be two group workouts on Monday, July 11, the fifth day of camp, before a 3-on-3 tournament from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. concludes the on-ice workouts at camp. Tuesday, July 12, is the annual Trial on the Isle at Stone Harbor.

Nine of the 10 2016 draft picks will be in attendance, with only first-round pick German Rubtsov not attending due to his KHL contract.

Also on the roster are 2015 first-round picks Ivan Provorov and Travis Konecny, 2014 first-round pick Travis Sanheim, 2014 second-round pick Nicolas Aube-Kubel and 2013 first-round pick Sam Morin.

All on-ice workouts are free and open to the public and will take place at Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees. A full schedule and roster is available here.
