Aaron Nola gets a shot at redemption tonight in Turner Field against the basement dwelling Braves. Nola had a really nice outing out of the break against Miami on the 18th but on Saturday, he got knocked out after four innings in Pittsburgh allowing six runs. The Braves ought to be the right lineup for Nola to face and get some confidence back. Though you can never take a Major League lineup for granted, even if it's a Quad-A one.
Braves pitcher Matt Wisler is a similar story and after a nice start to his season, has been watching his ERA sky rocket since the middle of May. His last three starts have been pretty horrendous so Wisler himself gets a shot at a Phillies lineup that isn't exactly scaring anyone. So now that I've predicted a low scoring affair, watch it be a 10-8 slug fest.
Aaron Altherr makes his return to the lineup today after being on the DL all season following wrist surgery early in spring training. During his rehab, Altherr hit .341/.481/.463 between GCL, Clearwater, Reading, and Lehigh Valley. His bat should be a very welcome presence.
