Phillies look for series win in Miami

  Starting Pitching Matchup:

Philadelphia Phillies (46-56) Miami Marlins (54-46)
RHP Zach Eflin LHP Adam Conley
(3-3, 3.40 ERA) (6-5, 3.58 ERA))

Following last night's collapse the Phillies send Zach Eflin to the mound today and lately he's emerged as one of the best options for the club. Coming off his first complete game shut out (and his second complete game in the month) against the Pirates on Friday, Eflin has really settled in to the major leagues so far and for the time being has silenced any debate about his readiness following his first start.

Pitching for the Marlins today is the impressive young southpaw, Adam Conley. Conley has had a very decent season so far and has has handled the Phillies well in his young career, firing a quality start each time he's faced them going back to last season. He's coming off a no decision on Friday where he held the Mets to two runs over six innings.

We get a different looking lineup today with Cesar Hernandez moving over to shortstop and Taylor Featherston making his first start with the Phillies at second base today. Jimmy Paredes will be in right field following Bourjos' injury last night and Tyler Goeddel gets the start in left.
