PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia 76ers will reportedly waive newly-acquired German center Tibor Pleiss, with his agent informing teams of his client's impending free agency, according to David Pick.

Pleiss, 26, was acquired from the Utah Jazz on August 26, along with two second-round picks and cash, in exchange for point guard Kendall Marshall. Marshall was waived by the Jazz later that day.

In 12 games last season with the Jazz, Pleiss shot 11-25 (.440) from the floor and logged 15 rebounds over 82 minutes played.
