The Philadelphia 76ers lost to the Milwaukee Bucks 90-82. After a really solid first half, leading by as much as ten points, the Sixers lost control during the 3rd quarter and never recovered. The Sixers have lost six straight games while the Bucks ended a three game losing streak.

The Brixers made an appearance. Do you know who they are? The Brixers are the Sixers when they shoot less than 30 percent from the field. Get it? Lots of bricks instead of made baskets. It's absolutely genius. It was brief, and the Sixers didn't lose track of the game as they kept up with the Bucks. The Sixers turned the ball over very often in the first quarter. They ended up with 7 turnovers. At the end of the 1st quarter, the Sixers were down 23-21, as Greg Monroe made a buzzer beating hook shot. Not bad, considering the Sixers trailed by 8 at one point during the quarter.

For the second quarter, the Sixers scored the first nine points and made the first four field goals to go up 30-25. The Bucks made two free throws, but, again, from a field goal standpoint, the Bucks didn't make a shot until 8 minutes to go in the quarter.

Yes, the second quarter was launched with the Sixers playing solid defense and making shots. The Sixers really looked like they could play spoiler. This writer was convinced of a loss, but was enjoying the ride. The Sixers took better care of the ball as they had 8 turnovers by the half. That's right, they only had one turnover in the 2nd quarter. Meanwhile, the Bucks, who had three turnovers in the first quarter, had 9 turnovers by the half. So not only did the Sixers take care of the ball, but they took the ball too. No, really, out of the nine Bucks turnovers, 6 of them were steals by the Sixers.

The Sixers went up by 10 points, 44-34, at one point with just under four minutes in the 2nd quarter. But then, the score was 44-40. At the half, the Sixers led 48-42.

Birthday boy, Dario Saric, played well in the first half. He had 12 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. He shot 62.5 percent from the floor.

The second half started off alright. But, the Bucks ended up taking a 56-54 lead. At the end of the 3rd quarter, the Bucks were up 67-60. The Bucks outscored the Sixers by 13 points. Once again, the Sixers failed to take care of the ball. They had 8 at the half. By the end of the quarter, they had 13. Clearly, turning the ball over leads to tragedy.

During the 4th quarter, the only interesting thing that happened was the Bucks went up by as much as 12.

The Sixers came out slightly sluggish, but basically ready to fight. They showed a lot of heart. But, the Bucks must've gotten a wakeup call during the halftime break and remembered they were fighting to make the playoffs and simply changed the game in the second half. The Sixers really couldn't hang, but, as Brett Brown would say, "We give 'em cwedit".

Next game is their last home game of the season as they face the Indiana Pacers, who are also fighting for a playoff spot as of this writing.
