Flyers Slated for 16 Nationally Televised Games in 2017-18

The NHL and NBC Sports released the list of nationally televised games for the upcoming 2017-18 season. As usual, the Flyers are well-represented.

The Flyers will play 16 games that will be televised nationally in the 2017-18 season, including four weekend games on NBC.

The Flyers will play four times exclusively on NBCSN as the Wednesday Night Rivalry game. Those games are the Nov. 1 game against the Chicago Blackhawks, Dec. 20 against the Detroit Red Wings, Jan. 31 against the Washington Capitals and March 7 against the Pittsburgh Penguins. All four of those games will begin at 8 p.m.

Additionally, the Flyers will be playing in nationally televised weekend games on Jan. 21 against the Washington Capitals, March 25 against the Pittsburgh Penguins, April 1 against the Boston Bruins and April 7 against the New York Rangers. The first three of those games will start at 12:30 p.m., while the regular-season finale against the Rangers will be a 3 p.m. start time.

The remaining eight games, including the Flyers season opener in San Jose on Oct. 4, will be additional coverage by NBCSN broadcasting the games nationally. For local viewers, those games will still be televised on CSN.
