PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — Rhys Hoskins came through again. It just wasn't in the way he had so many times before.
With the game tied at one, Hoskins hit an RBI double down the left-field line to put the Phillies in the lead for good, as Aaron Nola rebounded from back-to-back rough starts to again fire a gem against the Braves in a 6-1 Phillies win on Monday night at Citizens Bank Park.

There wasn't much in terms of offense over the first couple of innings, but the Phillies finally got something going with their first hit of the game. Pedro Florimon led off the bottom of the third with a triple and scored on an RBI single by Nola. The Phillies stranded two runners in scoring position to end the inning.
The Braves got a leadoff baserunner in the sixth on Dansby Swanson's double. He scored on a two-out RBI single by Brandon Phillips to tie the game at one.
The Phillies wasted no time getting the lead back. Nick Williams, who ended the top of the sixth with a great diving catch, doubled to lead off the inning. That brought Hoskins to the plate. It was no home run, but the rookie hit a line drive off the chalk along the left-field line for an RBI double to give the Phillies the lead again. Maikel Franco added an RBI single that scored Hoskins to make it a 3-1 game.
Cameron Rupp led off the seventh inning with a solo home run, his 14th of the season. Two more runs scored in the eighth, one on a bases-loaded walk by Rupp and another on a sacrifice fly by Andres Blanco.
