Of the Flyers' eight games to open this season, five have come against Western Conference opponents. That only continues tonight, as they play host to the Anaheim Ducks — and it gets a lot more Western from here.

The matchup will close their season series with the Ducks (gone so soon), and caps off a five-game homestand that has seen them go 3-1 so far.

Puck drop is set for 7 p.m.

Jakub Voracek may not have found the back of the net just yet, but his capabilities as a playmaker have taken significant strides to start the season. He's due to light the lamp, and tonight's game is one that can really help him out.

Injuries have hampered Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf this season, but in the limited time he's been in the lineup, he's produced. In two games, Getzlaf has two assists. He'll return to the lineup tonight, and will surely look to make up for lost time.

After a solid 23-save performance against Edmonton on Saturday, Brian Elliott returns between the pipes for the Flyers. Though Anaheim's been somewhat of a nemesis for him in his career, he turned away 21 shots in a 3-2 overtime win on Oct. 7.

John Gibson continues to emerge as a bright young star in the Ducks' net. He'll return, fresh off a 49-save performance against Montreal last Friday.
