It's always a touching sight to see a professional athlete perform an act of kindness for people who are less fortunate than them. Sometimes it's just a publicity stunt, but other time's it's out of that particular person's goodness of their heart.
Sixers point guard Ben Simmons gave a true Christmas miracle to four local Philadelphia-area families on Thursday.

As a part of the Sixers' "Season of Giving," Simmons surprised the families by going on a $1000 shopping spree at Target. Simmons generously purchased toys, PlayStation 4's, and TV's for them.
"Beautiful," a mother exclaimed.

Ben Simmons made the holiday season's of four families that he didn't know yesterday, but he saw it in his heart to give back to the community that he plays a game in.
He showed that there are things that are greater than him and greater than the game of basketball.
It's impressive for someone to give back to their community with the resources they have, especially for someone as young as Ben at the age of 21.
