On Tuesday evening the NFL announced the players selected to the Pro Bowl, which included six members of the Eagles:

Quarterback Carson Wentz was selected to the Pro Bowl as the starting quarterback after receiving the most votes at his position.

Joining Wentz from the offensive side of the ball is the right side of the Eagles offensive line, right tackle Lane Johnson and right guard Brandon Brooks who have been graded at the top of their position all season long.

The fourth offensive player selected is tight end Zach Ertz who is in striking distance of career-highs in receptions and yardage despite missing two games this season. He has already doubled his career-high in touchdowns this season.

On the defensive side of the ball defensive tackle Fletcher Cox and safety and team captain Malcolm Jenkins will represent the Eagles.

It is the third consecutive pro bowl selection for Fletcher Cox and the second pro bowl selection of Malcolm Jenkins's career, with the first coming in 2015.

It will be the first pro bowl selection for the other four players. Lane Johnson appreciated his first Pro Bowl selection, but had a message that Eagles' fans will be happy to hear:

Congratulations to these six on making the Pro Bowl.
