De Los Santos Set for 2nd MLB Start in 1st-Half Finale

By Matt Rappa, Sports Talk Philly editor

With RHP Zach Eflin (blister) injured, Philadelphia Phillies (53-41) No. 11 prospect Enyel De Los Santos will make his second major league start in Sunday's first-half finale matinee against RHP Jose Urena and the National League second-worst Miami Marlins (40-57) at Marlins Park. Urena has the second-most losses in the National League this season (9), trailing only Washington Nationals RHP Tanner Roark.

The Phillies were blanked for the fifth time this season on Saturday, 2-0, and the second time in four days. All-Star right-hander Aaron Nola suffered his third loss of the season, allowing a pair of runs on four hits, one walk and five strikeouts through six innings and 93 pitches. The Phillies collected seven singles and a double (Jorge Alfaro, 13), extending the club's extra-base hits streak to 91 games. Mark Leiter Jr. and Austin Davis combined for two shutout innings in relief, allowing just one walk and no hits.

De Los Santos and the Phillies will look for their ninth series victory out of their last 11 overall in the rubbermatch.
