Phillies Invite 11 Minor League Players to Spring Training

Spring training is not too far away. With the Philadelphia Phillies' equipment truck set to depart for Clearwater, Florida, in exactly four weeks, the club extended invitations to 11 minor-league players to big-league camp.

The following eight "internal" non-roster invitees are: INF Malquin Canelo, LHP Tyler Gilbert, C Deivi Grullón, OF Adam Haseley, LHP Cole Irvin, INF/OF Austin Listi, OF Mickey Moniak and LHP JoJo Romero.

Minor leaguers INFs Gift Ngoepe and Andrew Romine — along with southpaw Edward Paredes — were signed and also extended invites.

Southpaw Jeremy Bleich and RHP Josh Martin, catchers Rob Brantly and Matt McBride, infielders Phil Gosselin and Gregorio Petit, and outfielder Shane Robinson were previously invited, meaning there will be at least 18 Phillies non-roster invitees at the start of next month's camp.
