Philadelphia Phillies Managing Partner John Middleton is logging plenty of miles onto his private jet this month.

Middleton and fellow Phillies brass recently flew to Las Vegas to meet with superstar free agent Bryce Harper, who has worn No. 34 through his entire seven-year career thus far.

Wednesday morning, the plane got used again according to NBC Sports Philadelphia's Jim Salisbury, although for a much more important cause — in honor of another No. 34, Roy Halladay.

Middleton sent his plane to Florida to bring the late Hall of Fame inductee's wife, Brandy, and two sons to New York so they could attend the Hall of Fame celebration and press conference.

In New York, Brandy said Halladay's Hall of Fame plaque cap would not feature the Phillies, nor Halladay's first team, the Toronto Blue Jays, "out of respect" for the two cities "he loved."

The Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on July 21 in Cooperstown.
