On a busy Monday that saw the Eagles agree to a deal with Malik Jackson, acquire and extend DeSean Jackson, re-sign Jason Peters and lose Nick Foles to a massive deal from the Jaguars, a bit of news got swept away.

The Eagles are putting their team in the hands of their own players as Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer notes that the Eagles are moving on from a veteran lineman.

Wisniewski solidified the elite line in 2017 and was a starter when the Eagles won their first title in franchise history.

Matt Pryor has never played a meaningful snap in the league, so it is big news that the team is willing to take a chance on him being the starter for the 2019 season if Brooks is still healing from his Achillies injury.

Wisniewski will likely not have a difficult time finding a new team.

The move saves $3 million in cap space.

After trading a sixth-round pick, the Eagles should only need around $6.5 million to sign their draft picks, meaning they look to have around $11 million to work with in free agency yet.
