As we saw from the preseason games, the Eagles have quite a bit of depth on their roster.

While the Eagles by no means appeared to be unbeatable, they had some pretty good plays, even against other team’s starters. That is what is most important for a team like the Eagles who barely played their starters outside of a few game three drives.

Having that depth makes cutting the 90-man roster down to 53 that much more difficult as the team will certainly be cutting loose guy who can contribute now or in the future.

Howie Roseman has made his decisions.

The Eagles will run with the following 53-man roster to start the 2019 season.

Quarterbacks (3): Carson Wentz, Nate Sudfeld, Josh McCown

Running Backs (4): Miles Sanders, Jordan Howard, Darren Sproles, Corey Clement

Offensive Linemen (10): Jason Peters, Isaac Seumalo, Jason Kelce, Brandon Brooks, Lane Johnson, Andre Dillard, Jordan Mailata, Halapoulivaati Vaitai, Matt Pryor, Nate Herbig

Defensive Tackles (4): Fletcher Cox, Malik Jackson, Tim Jernigan, Hassan Ridgeway

Defensive Ends (6): Brandon Graham, Derek Barnett, Vinny Curry, Josh Sweat, Daeshon Hall, Shareef Miller
