The Eagles and their fans will always have a special place in their hearts for Nick Foles. When he signed with the Jaguars this offseason, there was no reason not to wish him well - he doesn't play the Eagles and is in the AFC, so there is no negative playoff implications for the Eagles if he were to have an undefeated season.

Foles opened the 2019 season against the Kansas City Chiefs and he made the highlight reel with a big touchdown pass.

The only problem - he got hit hard by hanging in the pocket on the play and was headed to the locker room with an injury.

Adam Shefter of ESPN now reports that the injury is a broken left clavicle.

Foles is out indefinitely with the injury.

Phillip Heilman of The Athletic reports Foles will have surgery Monday.

Foles missed eight games with the 2014 injury that he told reporters this is worse than.
