It's been quite the start to the season for Travis Konecny. The late arrival to camp has five points in the first two games of the season and has the bounces going his way — just look to his goal in Wednesday's win to see that. Konecny looks to continue his hot streak in the third game of the season.

The runaway winner of the Calder Trophy last season, Elias Pettersson is a central part of the Canucks lineup. He has just one goal in three games, but he remains one of the most dangerous players on the roster, especially if things open up on the man-advantage.

Projected Goalie Matchup
79 Carter Hart 25 Jacob Markstrom
2 GP, 2-0-0, 1.50 GAA, .946 SV% 3 GP, 1-2-0, 2.37 GAA, .922 SV%

With 25 saves, including one remarkable one, Carter Hart picked up his first career shutout in Wednesday's game. There should be no stopping him for the time being. He'll get another start in Vancouver, a homecoming for the 21-year-old who played his junior hockey in nearby Everett.

Jacob Markstrom has seen the ice in all three of the Canucks games so far this season, getting his first win rather easily in his last start, an 8-2 win over the Kings. He will likely get another start again on Saturday.
