The Eagles made a move last week to activate Cre’Von LeBlanc from the injured reserve.
The move came at the expense of former Clemson defensive tackle Albert Huggins.
Huggins had played in the four previous games for the Eagles, making three tackle assists in limited snaps.
On the same day, the Eagles had promoted tight end Josh Perkins from the practice squad to take the spot of Jordan Matthews, who had been released earlier that week.
The Eagles left an opening for Huggins on the practice squad, but he did not clear waivers and was instead claimed by the New England Patriots on Monday the second.
With the Patriots having kicker issues, however, they waived Huggins before their game this weekend.
On Tuesday, the Eagles signed Huggins back to their practice squad.

Kevin Wilkins, a Rutgers product, had been with the Eagles in training camp and was brought onto the Eagles practice squad once Huggins was claimed.
With Huggins again becoming available, Wilkins was released to make room for Huggins.
