It all comes down to this, the Eagles play against the New York Giants with a playoff spot on the line. The Birds have had a decent first half and lead the Giants 10-3 at the half. The Eagles defense has dominated, giving up just 108 total yards. Here’s what we saw in the first 30 minutes of action:

First Half Offensive MVP

RB Boston Scott. Scott has had a great first half, being a huge spark plug off the bench, replacing the injured Miles Sanders. Scott finished the half with seven rushes for 15 yards as well as two catches for 39 yards.

First Half Defensive MVP

DE Brandon Graham. Graham has had amazing first half, tallying one sack and three tackles for a loss. Graham has played a huge part in holding the Giants to just three rushing yards at the break.

Who Needs To Step Up

QB Carson Wentz. Wentz has not had a great first half compleating 13 pass attempts for 160 yards. Wentz has been missing some throws he needs to make, but also has made some great throws including connecting with Joshua Perkins for a 24 yard touchdown. Wentz is going to need to sharpen up in the second half if the Eagles are going to walk away from this game with the NFC East crown.

Who To Watch Out For

RB Saquon Barkley. Barkley has had a slow first half finishing with just ten total yards, but has been on fire the past two games. If the Birds want to continute to dominate, their going to need to shut down Barkley once again in the second half.
