The injury updates given on Monday following the Eagles clinching the NFC East Championship were not very positive.

While the Eagles avoided one blow with Miles Sanders being labeled as day to day and Lane Johnson expected to practice, they lost two more players in their hunt to become the champions of the East.

Right guard Brandon Brooks and defensive end Daeshon Hall will be out for the remainder of the season.

Eagles Evaluation: Eagles Surge To NFC East Championship

The Eagles struggled for about two and a half quarters, but got their act together in the second-half.

The Eagles got back to what matters most in Philadelphia: having fun.

There was, of course, a catalyst with a major fumble recovery, but following that play, the Philadelphia Eagles began to laugh and dance and have fun.

They rode that wave to the tune of two extra touchdowns, two sacks, a tackle for loss, an interception and a turnover on downs with a corner, on his own, stopping Saquon Barkley at the edge.

Hayes Scores OT Winner as Flyers Down Ducks

By Kevin Durso, Sports Talk Philly editor

It wasn't a pretty game for the Flyers on Sunday night in Anaheim, but after Saturday's debacle, it didn't need to be pretty. The result could mask some of the errors on the ice. An early goal by Anaheim certainly brought about thoughts of a similar fate and a lost weekend, but the Flyers did get the equalizer before getting locked in a goalie battle.

In overtime, the newest member to the Flyers leadership group stepped in and did his part. Kevin Hayes scored on a breakaway at 3:53 of overtime to lift the Flyers to a 2-1 win over the Ducks on Sunday night.

Postgame Report: Giants vs. Eagles - NFC East Champs!!

By Evan Krawczuk, Contributing Writer

Do or die baby. Do or die. Miles goes down, Brandon Brooks goes down. The Birds still pull it out to clinch another division title. At the half, the Eagles were ahead 10-3, and they brought the juice in the second half. Here's what I saw in the back half of action:

Halftime Report: Eagles at Giants

By Matt Ryan, Sports Talk Philly Contributor

It all comes down to this, the Eagles play against the New York Giants with a playoff spot on the line. The Birds have had a decent first half and lead the Giants 10-3 at the half. The Eagles defense has dominated, giving up just 108 total yards. Here's what we saw in the first 30 minutes of action:

First Half Offensive MVP

RB Boston Scott. Scott has had a great first half, being a huge spark plug off the bench, replacing the injured Miles Sanders. Scott finished the half with seven rushes for 15 yards as well as two catches for 39 yards.

First Half Defensive MVP

DE Brandon Graham. Graham has had amazing first half, tallying one sack and three tackles for a loss. Graham has played a huge part in holding the Giants to just three rushing yards at the break.

Who Needs To Step Up

QB Carson Wentz. Wentz has not had a great first half compleating 13 pass attempts for 160 yards. Wentz has been missing some throws he needs to make, but also has made some great throws including connecting with Joshua Perkins for a 24 yard touchdown. Wentz is going to need to sharpen up in the second half if the Eagles are going to walk away from this game with the NFC East crown.

Who To Watch Out For

RB Saquon Barkley. Barkley has had a slow first half finishing with just ten total yards, but has been on fire the past two games. If the Birds want to continute to dominate, their going to need to shut down Barkley once again in the second half.

The Airing of the Grievances

Lipinski & Watkins were once again live on Facebook, Twitch, Twitter, & YouTube discussing the Eagles HUGE win over the Dallas Cowboys.

Flyers-Ducks: Game 39 Preview

By Kevin Durso, Sports Talk Philly editor

Alain Vigneault didn't mince words after the Flyers 6-1 loss to the Sharks on Saturday night to start a six-game road trip.

"It was a very bad game altogether," Vigneault said. "I've got nothing positive really to say about one player tonight. That hasn't happened to me very often this year."

The 6-1 defeat to the Sharks was surely a pitiful start to the road trip. The Flyers get right back on the ice on Sunday night to continue the six-game trip by facing the Anaheim Ducks.

Game time is at 8:30 p.m.
