The final game of the season features the No. 1 NFC and AFC seed teams. It’s a battle of two fantastic teams led by quarterbacks who can get it done on the field. With the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs facing off in just two days, here are some betting ideas courtesy of BetMGM Sportsbook (and others noted) so you can get in on the action.

Novelty Props

  • Octopus (+1400, DraftKings): I love the idea of the Eagles pulling off an octopus, where a player scores a touchdown and then scores a 2-point conversion. The Eagles are 100% effective in 2-point conversions on the road, so I don’t doubt that they could get it done versus the Chiefs. In a dream scenario, Jalen Hurts gets a rushing touchdown. They go for an extra point, but then the Chiefs get a flag (highly likely with the Super Bowl officiating crew) moving the Eagles close enough to pull off a QB sneak in the end zone. Tell me that’s not likely.
  • Gatorade Color (+380, FanDuel): Even though Yellow/Green/Lime would make sense for the Eagles and Orange for the Chiefs, I think those choices would be too obvious. Red is overdue, but I also think that would be too obvious – then again, it would be a viable option since Valentine’s Day is coming up. But nothing beats the Blue Gatorade. I’ve gotta take the Blue Gatorade “shower” at the third best odds according to Action Network.
  • Rihanna Halftime Show Featuring Jay-Z (-225, Action Network): Rihanna’s song “Run This Town” has been used to promote her halftime show all week, and it also has the second-best odds on Action Network to be the last song. It’s definitely a song I see her using towards the end of her setlist, meaning Jay-Z, who’s a part of Roc Nation that helped with the Super Bowl Halftime Show in the past, would be a logical choice to make an appearance during the show.
